Mortgage Rate Predictions: Variable Rates May Drop, Fixed Rates Rise

The variable mortgage rate is expected to fall slightly, while the fixed rates have risen, forecasts bank SBAB. Economically, it has thus become less advantageous to fix the mortgage now, according to chief economist Robert Boije.
