Klarna Valuation Could Reach 150 Billion Kronor in 2023 Analysis

The value of the Swedish payment company Klarna can be pushed up to 16 billion dollars, equivalent to around 150 billion kronor according to a fresh analysis. It is significantly more than what the company itself has set as a goal ahead of the stock market introduction that is imminent.

The calculation has been made by fintech analyst Diksha Gera at Bloomberg Intelligence, who refers to the great interest in the share ahead of the expected listing.

This would make Klarna one of the highest valued companies introduced on the stock exchange this year, according to Bloomberg.

According to Klarna's own prospectus, published last week, the valuation would end up at up to 130 billion kronor.

Klarna is expected, according to Bloomberg, to list the share on the New York stock exchange on Wednesday this week. In connection with the listing, Klarna wants to raise 1.27 billion dollars in a new share issue.
