Unauthorized access to certain internal IT systems has been identified, Dustin writes in a press release. The breach is considered serious.

"We have chosen to shut down certain parts of our systems ourselves. With the plan we have in front of us, the aim is that we will be able to open up again at the beginning of next week," Eva Ernfors, head of information at Dustin, tells TT.

The closed online store means that customers cannot shop and goods cannot be delivered, according to Ernfors.

"We are investigating whether it could be a personal data incident. That is part of the investigation," she says.

"We have filed a police report," she adds.

Dustin has involved "all relevant authorities" and also hired "well-reputed cybersecurity experts," according to Ernfors.
