This concerns more than 86,000 savers and pensioners who will get back some of what they lost in the Allra scandal, the authority writes in a press release.
Most of those affected will in this payment receive somewhere between 100-1,000 kronor back. The one who receives the most will get 2,616 kronor and the median amount is estimated to be 574 kronor.
"I am glad for the savers who now receive financial redress. This is part of the pension that savers and pensioners in Allra were deprived of in 2012", says the Director-General of the Pensions Agency, Anna Pettersson Westerberg, in a comment in the press release.
The payment will be made automatically to the premium pension accounts of those affected.
"You do not need to do anything to receive the money", the authority writes.
In April last year, the Pensions Agency paid out more than 95 million, which means that with today's payment, a total of 143 million has been repaid.
The awarded damages - for those affected by Allra's bribery and disloyalty to the principal 13 years ago - amount to 170 million kronor plus interest.
"The Pensions Agency continues to work to ensure that more money reaches the affected savers and pensioners", the authority writes.
