The Stockholm stock exchange starts Tuesday's trading slightly up but has backed down into the red by lunchtime. The broad OMXS index is down 0.2 percent.

On the large company list OMXS30, the mining company Boliden has taken the lead and is up 1.3 percent. Also Telia is moving upwards, 1.1 percent, as well as the technology solution company Add Tech which is on a plus 1 percent.

It is going worse for the defense company Saab which is backing 4.1 percent after the British major bank Barclays put a sell stamp on the share.

Also backing are the venture capital company EQT, down 1 percent, and the measurement technology company Hexagon on minus 0.7 percent.

In the USA, the leading indexes are slightly upwards in pre-trading. On Monday, the broad S&P 500 index closed up 0.2 percent, the Dow Jones industrial index increased 0.3 percent while Nasdaq's technology-heavy composite index went up 0.5 percent.

The dollar continues to be pressed by increased expectations that the US central bank Federal Reserve (Fed) will lower the interest rate in just over a week after yet another weak labor market report, which came on Friday. The dollar currently costs 9.35 kronor, the lowest rate since spring 2022.

A euro costs 11.00 kronor.
