Hegseth: Iran war has cost the US $37.5 billion as Pentagon funds run low

The US war against Iran has so far cost the country the equivalent of SEK 364 billion, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said in a Senate hearing. At the same time, there are reports that the military’s coffers are running low and that the Pentagon is being forced to make savings elsewhere.
