Government abandons prison sentences for 13-year-olds

The government is withdrawing the proposal that 13-year-olds should be able to be sentenced to prison - to avoid the proposal failing in parliament. Instead, a 14-year limit is proposed. "We don't want to take any chances," says Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer (M).
