Social Democrats vow to end government waste and save up to 95 billion kronor a year

If the Social Democrats win the election, the party wants to stop profiteering in welfare, strangle the criminal economy and streamline public procurement.

The party estimates that streamlining public funds could lead to savings of up to SEK 75 to 95 billion annually within two terms, that is, until 2034.

It's about freeing up resources strategically so we can invest in welfare, says Damberg.
