Bear Hunting Season Begins with Rise in Bait Registrations

On August 21, this year's license hunting of bear begins where a total of 465 bears may be shot – somewhat fewer than last year. At the same time, the bait hunting of bear increases and ahead of this year's season, nearly 2,000 bear baits have been registered.
