1. Is it easier to quickly fire a large number of shots with AR weapons?

"In principle no, semi-automatic function means that it is one shot per trigger pull. The number of shots in quick succession is more dependent on magazine capacity".

2. Do shots from AR weapons come with higher velocity or greater force?

"No, it is the caliber of the cartridge, the amount of gunpowder, and the weight/design of the bullet together with the gun's barrel that determines the bullet's velocity and force".

3. Are AR weapons, in the wrong hands, more dangerous than other semi-automatic hunting rifles?

"All weapons are dangerous in the wrong hands and it depends a lot on the shooter's skills. Caliber and bullet design are what determine the effect on the intended target".

"The AR platform can be equipped with magazines that have a capacity of more than ten cartridges, but many other semi-automatic rifles also have that feature".

4. Can AR weapons be easily converted to fully automatic weapons?

"Whether a fully automatic weapon compared to a semi-automatic can be considered more dangerous is disputed".

"The possibility of modifying weapons regardless of type exists, but whether it is easy or difficult is subjective".

"Converting a semi-automatic weapon to fully automatic requires parts that are not easily available on the legal market. A weapon type that from the manufacturer exists with both semi- and fully automatic function, for example AR-15/AR-10, is however considered easier to convert".
