The man who started a relationship with his colleague was exposed by his partner, and during a quarrel, the couple agreed that they would smash the mistress's car. The vandalism was supposed to be proof of the man's love for his partner.
The man punctured two tires and smashed two windows while his partner waited in their car. Despite the fact that it was the man who attacked the car, the district court believes that the partner was also involved. Both are convicted of vandalism and sentenced to day fines.
The vandalism occurred in a small town outside Alvesta in July last year.
