The two teenagers who were arrested on suspicion of planning a murder at a high school in Åmål in Dalsland have been released, reports Dalslänningen.
They were released over the weekend following a decision by the on-call prosecutor, who no longer sees any reason to continue detaining them.
However, the two are still suspects, says Annika Collin, press spokesperson for the Prosecution Authority, according to SVT Väst.
According to media reports, it was students who saw something alarming at the school on Thursday and alerted the school management, who in turn contacted the police and the two suspects were arrested.
