The two people, a man and a woman, who were arrested on Monday in Båstads municipality have been detained on probable cause suspected of attempted murder, writes Helsingborgs Dagblad.
The man is in his 25s and the woman in her 20s.
According to the police, some form of weapon was used against a woman in her 55s. She was taken to hospital by ambulance on Monday evening with serious injuries.
The woman is still being cared for at the hospital, but her condition is described as stable and the police have been able to question her.
According to the police, both of the suspected individuals had known the woman previously. Both deny the crime.
