Train traffic between Gothenburg and Stockholm is affected by a power failure since nine o'clock on Friday, which Sveriges Radio was the first to report on.
It is due to a fault between Partille and Floda. We have sent out staff who are on site to investigate and rectify the problem, says Daniel Axelsson, press communicator at the Swedish Transport Administration, during Friday morning.
Just after 12.30, the Swedish Transport Administration announces that the power failure has been rectified, but that train traffic is still being diverted for express trains and replaced with buses for the regional trains.
Traffic is being diverted via Borås and Herrljunga, for further travel to Stockholm, says Daniel Axelsson.
There is no exact prognosis for when the trains can run as usual again.
