SVT has taken part of the forensic psychiatric examination.

The man has mental disorders, but they were not serious when he committed the crime. The man's mental well-being he has, according to the doctors, inflicted on himself through his abuse, says prosecutor Lindha Strömberg to SVT.

The double murder was discovered at the end of January this year when two men in their 60s were found dead in their home.

Three people were prosecuted in May for the double murder. The 33-year-old man admitted during the trial that it was he who killed the two men. He is to be prosecuted, according to the indictment, for having stabbed the victims several times with a knife and scissors and is charged with gross robbery.

Another man and a woman are also prosecuted in the case and are still detained. They have both admitted to having extorted the men. According to the crime classification presented by the prosecutor, they should not, however, be convicted of gross robbery.
