Made a film about the executioners – then Assad was overthrown

Few films are as well-timed as Jonathan Millet's thriller "Cold Trail". In the film, Syrian refugees hunt down the Assad regime's executioners in Europe to exact justice. It premiered in Cannes in 2024 – barely half a year later, Assad was overthrown.
