”The Defenders” is based on an original idea by author Jens Lapidus and is about two friends who together run a successful law firm. The main roles of the two friends are played by Björn Bengtsson (”A completely ordinary family”, ”Thicker than water”) and Arvin Kananian (”Triangle of sadness”).
Artists Ken Ring and Simon Superti make their acting debut as two notorious gang leaders. In other roles, among others, Dona Hariri, Anders Jansson and Jesper Söderblom can be seen, according to a press release from SVT.
”The Defenders” is directed by Lisa Linnertorp (”Threesome”) and the series premieres in the spring.
