The 63-year-old comedian’s new contract expires in December 2028, The Wrap reports.
“We look forward to continuing our partnership with Jon and his award-winning news team,” said George Cheeks, chairman and chief content officer at Skydance TV.
Stewart will continue his current schedule, hosting the program only on Mondays.
Jon Stewart left the satirical news show "The Daily Show" in 2015 after many years as host. He returned in 2024 in connection with the presidential election campaign.
