”This is the sound of something I have wanted to do for a long time”, says Robert Pettersson in a press release where it is revealed that he together with Takida colleague and producer Chris Rehn in secret worked with a completely new sound.
The sound image takes the listeners back to the 80's synth-based and melodic pop landscape, something that is noticed among other things on the first single ”All these years” which is released today.
”I have always loved music from the 80's, it was there that much of my own musical foundation was laid”, says Robert Pettersson.
His first solo album has got the title ”Deabolo hypomania”. The music on the record is described as a contrast to Takida's ”heavy and melancholic” rock and Stiftelsen's ”down-to-earth” rockpop.
