It is still unclear whether Nicole Kidman and Reese Whiterspoon will participate, although Nicole Kidman revealed as early as 2023 that a third season is in progress.
Alexander Skarsgård, who was awarded both an Emmy and a Golden Globe for his performance as Kidman's husband Perry Wright, is mentioned in speculations about a possible comeback, despite his character dying in the first season.
The first season became a critic and viewer favorite and was awarded five Emmy statuettes and four Golden Globes. Season two, with Meryl Streep in a central role, received a cooler reception.
