Kristoffer Jakobsen
The Swede far behind – the Norwegian second
After three consecutive failures, Kristoffer Jakobsen achieved a result in the World Championship – although far from the top. The Swede finished 22nd in the difficult slalom competition in Adelboden, where the "Norwegian ace" Lucas Pinheiro Braathen finished second.
Third Consecutive Crash for Swedish Star
It doesn't go well for slalom skier Kristoffer Jakobsen - for the third World Cup competition in a row, the 30-year-old crashed out already in the first run. Over 30 skiers crashed out of the competition in Madonna di Campiglio, where Bulgarian Albert Popov won.
Jakobsen's new setback – skied out again
Sweden's great slalom hope on the men's side, Kristoffer Jakobsen, has been inconsistent and given so far this season. In Alta Badia, it ended already in the first run for the second competition in a row – after a gate fault.
Norwegian double victory as Jakobsen skied out
Slalom specialist Kristoffer Jakobsen could not follow up the success from Austrian Gurgl, where he became second three weeks ago after a superior second run. In Sunday's slalom in French Val d'Isère, it ended for the Swede already in the first run.
The Success: Takes Career's Fourth Podium Position
Swedish Kristoffer Jakobsen delivered a super run in the slalom in Austrian Gurgl – so good that he climbed all the way up to a fine second place. It was the 30-year-old's fourth WC podium in his career.
New success for samba-dancing Northerner
Four in the giant slalom premiere – and four in the slalom premiere. The comebacking Norwegian Lucas Pinheiro Braathen can ski even when he wears Brazil's colors.
Swenn Larsson: "Trust in some, but not all"
In SVT's survey, alpine national team skiers testify that they have little or no confidence in the leadership of the association. Several spoke openly about the problems during the introductory meeting.
Sara Hector: "Sad about the development"
The alpine national team is under pressure and several of the skiers have to pay out over 100,000 kronor themselves to make ends meet. Slalom star Sara Hector, who has her training financed, sympathizes with those who are worse off, but notes: Sport will always be based on results, that you draw boundaries based on that.
