Former team captain and NHL star Jacob Josefson is making a comeback in Hockeyallsvenskan Djurgården.
He will become assistant sports manager to Niklas Wikegård.
"I've felt that I quit at a point where I still had a lot to give within hockey...It's going to be really fun to get back", says Josefson to Djurgården's website.
Josefson, 33, played his last match for Djurgården in the 2020-21 season, but was forced to quit due to repeated concussions.
He returned to Djurgården in 2018 after seven seasons in the NHL with New Jersey and Buffalo.
In recent years, he has been an expert commentator for Viaplay.
