Ludvig Åberg completed the first playoff tournament on the USA tour in the best possible way. The Swedish golf star went -3 on the last day and finished nine under par in total.
He thus finished in a shared ninth place.
The result means that the Swede is already clear for the tour final at East Lake GC outside Atlanta in just under two weeks, where the 30 best on the tour ranking go.
For next week's tournament, in Owings Mills, Maryland, the 50 best on the ranking go after this week's tournament at TPC Southwind in Memphis.
On the last day in Memphis, Åberg made five birdies and two bogeys. The win was taken by Englishman Justin Rose after a playoff against American JJ Spaun.
