The 20- and 19-year-old Swedes Jacob Hölting Nilsson and Elmer Andersson defeated the Germans Nils Ehlers and Clemens Wickler in the final of the Pro Tour Challenge tournament in Baden in Austria.

With the victory, the Swedes got revenge on Ehlers/Wickler, who knocked out Hölting Nilsson/Andersson in the European Championship last week.

”We had almost the same game plan as last time in Düsseldorf against the Germans, but this time we served better and played better in our own sideout. It was exactly what we knew we had to do – and now we succeeded!”, says Elmer Andersson in the victory interview.

August 10 will probably not be Ehlers' and Wickler's favorite date. For two years in a row, they have now lost a final to Swedes on this exact date.

For Hölting Nilsson and Andersson, the tournament victory, on the tour under the World Tour, meant that they take a step towards securing a World Championship spot.
