The 23-year-old goalkeeper has been strongly contributing to Mjällby's success in Allsvenskan, which the Blekinge team tops.
According to the newspaper Samsun Haber, which refers to Samsunspor's chairman Yüksel Yildirim, the transfer is clear.
We have reached an agreement with Noel Törnqvist. Since the league in Sweden is still ongoing, he will continue to play on loan in Mjällby AIF this season. In the meantime, we will recruit a temporary reserve goalkeeper to the team, says Yildirim to Samsun Haber, according to BLT.
Mjällby's sports director says, however, that the clubs are not at all in agreement.

He does, however, open up for the arrangement that Yildirim describes could become relevant – if a deal becomes a reality.
