Vonn's successful comeback fell through
Sofia Goggia was in a class of her own when she won Saturday's downhill in the World Championship in Cortina d'Ampezzo. The Italian won in front of the home crowd on next year's Olympic Games slope, 42 hundredths ahead of Norwegian Kajsa Vickhoff Lie and 55 hundredths ahead of another Italian, Federica Brignone.
Macuga stole the show – Vonn missed the podium
