There were three skiers who stood out in a class of their own in Tuesday's difficult giant slalom. And the standings after the first run remained after the second.
Hector finished 80 hundredths behind the winning Swiss Lara Gut-Behrami.
Federica Brignone, Italy, finished second. She thus won the giant slalom cup ahead of New Zealand's Alice Robinson – who crashed out in the final. Hector took third place there as well.
The second Swedish skier in Tuesday's giant slalom, Estelle Alphand, finished ninth in the final. She was 3.66 seconds behind Gut-Behrami.
The women's World Championship season concludes with slalom on Thursday.
