Around 80,000 Palestinians are fleeing from Gaza City since Israel launched an offensive against the city at the end of June and ordered an evacuation, according to the UN's humanitarian organization.
"Many are living in ruins or in damaged buildings", writes Ocha on X.
Aid organizations are working hard to help the fleeing people, according to Ocha, but their hands are tied.
Tens of thousands have been killed and nearly two million Gaza residents have been forced to leave their homes since the start of the war in October, which followed the deadly attack by terrorist-stamped Hamas against Israel. As Israel's warfare has progressed, aid organizations have repeatedly warned of famine and the widespread spread of infectious diseases in Gaza.
