A Norwegian adventurer who had been missing in Canada's wilderness has been found dead. This is stated by the family's press spokesperson to Norwegian VG.
The family has now this evening received confirmation that Steffen Skjøttelvik has been found dead by the Hayes River in Canada, says the press spokesperson to the newspaper.
The last sign of life from the 29-year-old Norwegian came on August 14. He was on a journey that would stretch over 10,000 km – he would hike and make his way with a dog sled from James Bay in Canada to Nome in Alaska, reports NRK.
The landscape he was to go through is described as demanding.
