North Korea's dictator Kim Jong-Un has overseen tests of the country's new air defense missiles, reports state media.
The test showed that the missiles had "superior combat capability", writes the report. Where the tests took place is not known.
The test comes a day after South Korea confirmed that it had fired warning shots at North Korean soldiers at the border. The soldiers had crossed the heavily monitored and militarized border while performing maintenance work.
North Korean representatives mean that the shots were planned and were intended to provoke.
