Tara Babulfath, judo, bronze

One year ago, the now 18-year-old super talent from Tyresö was close to switching national teams. Instead, the 48-kilo judoka got the right conditions for her investment in Sweden, which led to a World Championship gold earlier this year. And a bronze in the Olympic Games in Paris after winning all matches, except the semifinal, on ippon. The semifinal went to extra time, so-called Golden Score, where she lost to Japanese Natsumi Tsunoda, who then took gold.

Jenny Rissveds, mountain bike, bronze

The Olympic gold medalist from Rio de Janeiro 2016 made it, after her breakthrough in Brazil, through a tough period with depression and eating disorders and was away from cycling for almost two years. She was in the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2021 (14th) and managed, as a 30-year-old, to take another Olympic medal when she rode to bronze in Paris after a silver struggle against Haley Batten, USA.

.

Victor Lindgren, shooting, silver

The 21-year-old from Sjöbo took World Championship gold last year and was part of the favorite group in the Olympic Games in Paris. He became sixth in the qualifying round, among the eight who advanced, but in the final on 10-meter air rifle, he didn't falter. It became a direct decisive shooting between him and Sheng Lihao, which the Chinese won. Lindgren works as a welder to finance his shooting investment, but after the Olympic silver, maybe he can reduce his working hours.
