Chelsea will donate a part of the prize money from the club team World Championship to Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva's family, according to The New York Times.
The London club earned just over a billion kronor for the tournament victory, where they defeated PSG 3-0 in the final.
Of that amount, the players in the squad shared around 150 million kronor. Now the club, in a joint decision with the players, has decided that Diogo Jota's family will receive a share equivalent to the other players.
Liverpool striker Jota and his brother André were both killed in a car accident in the Spanish province of Zamora on July 3 - ten days before Chelsea's victory in the World Championship final.
Note: In an earlier version of this article, an incorrect amount was stated in the bonus to Jota's family.
