A somewhat volatile USA stock exchange finally closed slightly up on Tuesday.
After fluctuating between minus and plus several times during the day, the industrial index Dow Jones closed unchanged. Both S&P 500 and Nasdaq's composite index had a similar development, but both ended the trading day up 0.2 percent.
Semiconductor company Nvidia will present its quarterly report on Wednesday, which is expected to have a significant impact on the stock exchange's development as a whole. The day before the release, the stock rose by 1.5 percent.
Tuesday was also pleasant for shipping companies. Royal Caribbean rose by 4.4 percent, while Norwegian Cruise Line went up by 3.6 percent.
It went worse for pharmaceutical company Moderna, which lost 3.3 percent. Electric car manufacturer Tesla also had a tough day and closed down 1.9 percent.
Entertainment giant Paramount fell by as much as 7.2 percent.
