Open AI takes in 8.3 billion dollars in an investment round, reports Bloomberg. The investment round values the AI company at 300 billion dollars, equivalent to around 3,300 billion kronor. Among the investors were, among other things, Blackstone.
Open AI currently has 5 million paying customers. The company has annual revenues of 13 billion dollars but expects to reach recurring, annual revenues of 20 billion dollars as early as the end of the year.
