Euro Zone Inflation Remains Steady at 2 Percent

Inflation in the euro zone came in unchanged at 2 percent in annual terms. It was expected to fall to 1.9 percent in annual terms. Core inflation landed at 2.3 percent in annual terms, also unchanged from before and in line with expectations.

Service inflation landed at 3.1 percent while energy prices fell 2.5.

Among euro countries, inflation was highest in Estonia, while Cyprus's inflation was almost unchanged.
