Norway is still working to get a trade agreement with the USA, states the country's Minister of Trade and Industry Cecilie Myrseth to Bloomberg. She describes the dialogue with the USA as both constructive and demanding at the same time.
"Our main goal is to ensure that Norwegian exporters have the best possible market conditions in the USA", she writes in a comment.
According to yesterday's customs announcement from the USA, Norway gets import duties of 15 percent, which is at the same level as the duties the EU has negotiated for its member countries.
