So far, seven people have been confirmed infected. According to the municipality of Oslo, the outbreak has been ongoing since mid-June, but was not discovered until Friday. During the period, the restaurant Frognerseteren estimates that between 15,000 and 20,000 guests have visited them.

Frognerseteren will be closed until all necessary measures are in place, the municipality states. It is a well-known destination in the ski area Holmenkollen, which is also a major tourist attraction.

Guests who have visited the restaurant during the period are urged to seek medical attention if they experience any symptoms. It takes between two and six weeks from the time you become infected until symptoms develop.
