Mother and daughter made their debut with their food truck at Kivik's market on Friday. The truck was parked next to the amusement park and they witnessed the fatal accident at close range.
We are shocked that the amusement park is opening so quickly again, says daughter Ebba Nordin to TT.
Ebba Nordin is still in shock after witnessing the tragic accident on Friday when a market stall at Kivik's market tipped over onto the amusement park.
It feels surreal that everything is up and running again so soon. It's as if nothing has happened, she says over the phone to TT.
Despite four people being injured and one person dying, no official information has been released by Kivik's market about the death to the vendors and exhibitors, according to Ebba Nordin.
I think they could have informed us vendors. Now it's just spreading through rumors. We haven't received any information, not even today.
No minute of silence has been held and there are no flowers at the site, she says.
It's crowded here, even more people today than yesterday.
It's the first time Ebba and her mother Helena have brought their food truck with langos to Kivik's market. After the accident, they talked about leaving the market.
Yesterday, we absolutely wanted to leave. But it's my and mom's full-time job. It costs almost 30,000 kronor for us to be here, says Ebba Nordin.
