Shortly after 9 pm on Friday evening, the police announced on their website that the 35-year-old man was dead. The incident is classified as murder.

Another man was found dead in the same building during the evening, but the police have not yet released information on how the man died.

It is unclear what connection the two have, it is cordoned off, we have technicians on site and patrols are working on gathering information, says Patrik Thelander, duty officer at police region South.

The alarm came at 17.56 on Friday afternoon and according to the police, it is likely that the shooting took place in the stairwell.

We have no formal suspect, but we are working on the investigation. It is difficult for me to say more without going into preliminary investigation secrecy, says Sara Andersson, press spokesperson for the police.

It is unclear if any weapon has been found at the scene. It is not considered to be any danger to the public. The residents of the house where the man was found have not needed to be evacuated.

At 1 am, no one had been arrested suspected of the murder.
