When Ismael Abdo, Jordgubben, was arrested in Turkey, 18 other people were also arrested. Two of them belong to Abdo's inner circle, reports SVT News Stockholm. They are pointed out by the police as leading figures in a criminal gang in southern Stockholm.

One of them, a 34-year-old man, like Abdo, has Turkish citizenship. Therefore, he will not be extradited to Sweden.

The 34-year-old has been detained in his absence on Friday, suspected of four cases of preparation for murder and involvement of minors in crime. In addition, he has previously been involved in investigations related to fraud against the elderly, and has been given the nickname "Birgitta-75" in criminal circles.

The other gang leader who was arrested at the same time as Abdo is a 23-year-old man who is said to be leading the so-called Zero network. According to SVT's sources, he is behind a large part of the influx of narcotics into Sweden. But he is not currently being prosecuted for any crime in Sweden, and has therefore not been requested to be extradited.
