Large quantities of strong pain-relieving medication have been stolen by employees working in care and nursing in the city and the contents of the capsules are said to have been replaced with an unknown substance. The thefts are said to have occurred in connection with employees in care and nursing delivering medication to patients' homes who cannot get to a pharmacy themselves.
They have stolen from the patient, between the pharmacy and when it has arrived at the customer, the medication has been replaced or has not been handed over at all, says Titti Unosdotter, department manager at the care and nursing administration in Helsingborg to the radio channel.
The incident has been reported to both the police and the Ivo and the municipality has changed its routines.
