Court of Appeal Upholds Verdict for Teen in Rosengård Shooting

The Court of Appeal upholds the verdict for the 18-year-old who by mistake shot two boys in a stairwell in Rosengård in Malmö on New Year's Eve.

A 15-year-old boy died and a 16-year-old was seriously injured. "A reckless game with a deadly weapon" considered Malmö District Court and sentenced the 18-year-old for gross negligence causing death, gross negligence causing bodily harm and gross weapons offense.

The weapon had been taken there by a 16-year-old, the Court of Appeal also upholds his sentence to nine months of closed youth care.
