Now, producer prices are dropping significantly. In July, the decline was written down to 1.4 percent compared to June 2024. Both on the import and export markets, prices fell by 2.0 percent, according to new figures from Statistics Sweden (SCB).
Compared to July 2023, the producer price index fell by 0.1 percent.
Price drops for computers, electronic goods, and optics contributed the most on the import market, writes SCB. When it comes to the export market, lower prices for, among other things, motor vehicles, trailers, and chemicals contributed primarily.
