A Palestinian man on the West Bank was pinned down on a car bonnet by Israeli soldiers during a military operation in the city of Jenin, according to the Israeli military.
Photos show the man lying across the bonnet, with his head level with the roof on one side and his legs on the other. The vehicle can also be seen driving a short distance with him on the bonnet. After images and videos of this spread on social media, the Israeli military confirmed the incident, reports BBC.
According to the Israeli account, the man was involved in a shootout and was also injured in it.
Israel's military promises to investigate the incident and states that what is seen in the clip does not align with its values.
