The entire Gotland was affected by a power outage on Saturday evening. At 22.30, the power began to return, reports P4 Gotland.
What I can say is that there is a total power outage on the entire Gotland, said Josefine Björk at Geab, Gotland Energy, earlier to the news site Helagotland.
Region Gotland is simultaneously urging the inhabitants to be "very sparing" with the drinking water.
"Due to the power outage, we have operational disturbances in the water supply", the region writes on its website.
Behind the power outage are problems with the connection between the island and the mainland. Geab previously stated to Helagotland that they were working "at full capacity to start up the reserve power that exists on Gotland as soon as possible".
