In early November, The Moderate Party dismissed Sophia Jarl as chairman of the municipal council after The Liberals and The Christian Democrats announced that they had lost confidence in her. They then rejected The Moderate Party's proposal to continue governing Norrköping together.
Sophia Jarl became nationally known last year after the bourgeois government decided to shut down the cultural administration in Norrköping. Instead, the operations would be organized within the Growth and Development Office, which sparked strong reactions.
