The 24-year-old man is suspected of having collected tens of thousands of kronor from July 2022 to March 2024. According to the indictment, he has from Sweden collected money via, among other things, Tiktok and received cryptocurrency, Swedish kronor and American dollars.
The money was to finance the terrorist organization IS's activities.
The man was arrested at Arlanda in December last year and has been detained since then. The investigation has been conducted by Säpo under the leadership of a prosecutor at the National Unit for Security Cases.
