Man Requested for Detention in Örebro Mosque Murder Case

A 25-year-old man has been requested to be detained, on probable cause suspected of the murder at Örebro mosque in the Vivalla district on Friday. It is the stronger degree of suspicion.

The man denies the crime, according to P4 Örebro.

A man of the same age was shot to death outside the mosque and another man was injured in the shooting. According to the police, there is no connection to the mosque, but rather to organized crime.

Three other people are being held in custody suspected of involvement in the murder.
