An elderly man has died after an accident in Kävlinge municipality. The man, who was in his 70s, was found lifeless on Monday morning. According to the police, the man appears to have fallen from a scaffolding in connection with a renovation work on a property and was then taken to hospital.
The day after the incident, the police announced that the man had died from his injuries, which Sydsvenskan was the first to report on. Initially, a preliminary investigation into the workplace accident was to be initiated, but later the police announced that it was likely an accident and that no such investigation would be conducted.
The deceased's relatives have been informed.
