The arrested man can, according to the channel, be linked to several murders in the Swedish wave of violence and is said to be one of gang leader Rawa Majid's closest men. He is alleged to have ordered the noted murder of a father of three in Skurup in 2024.
The arrest is said to have taken place a few weeks ago in the city of Erbil, which is located in the Kurdish part of Iraq, where the man is a citizen. He has been internationally wanted by both Interpol and the Swedish police, and the latter is said to have been informed of the arrest.
